Behan Bros.’ skilled team of craftsmen has deep Rhode Island roots.

“It’s all in the details,” says Garrett Behan.  Garrett and his brother Mike Behan work as project managers at Behan Bros., Inc., the construction firm their father Michael Behan started in the 1970s.  “All of our personnel take a very detail-oriented approach to every task they complete; every detail matters. This has been engrained in the company culture for over four decades.”

Middletown-based Behan Bros., a leader in both residential and commercial building in Newport County, is regularly called upon to take on some of the region’s most ambitious and challenging construction programs—including the first LEED Gold-certified project in Rhode Island and the venerable Carnegie Abbey Club, now the Aquidneck Club. The firm builds several custom homes a year and frequently takes on nationally registered historic renovations. 

Most of the firm’s employees are native Rhode Islanders, which gives them intimate knowledge of the landscape in which they are working.
